Art Keshishi buys cameras off of eBay and uses the parts for the repairs done here. Then files a defective return leaving the eBay seller to not only cover shipping both ways, but hundreds of dollars of repair parts that were stolen by this ‘business’. Also gives a bad mark on the seller account on eBay. I’m in the process of the dispute. He replaced the top/dial on the Fujifilm x-t3 I sold him with a smashed in one that wouldn’t spin and replace the shutter assembly with a broken one. He spilled some kind of glue on it and half of the screws were missing. The camera was in good condition a fully functional and complete when I ship it there. Be aware when you have a repair done at this shop it is probably with stolen parts. I will be reporting him for an investigation by the local authorities.

Outstanding customer service! I sent my camera in for repair and had some issues with the USPS on its return to me. It was totally beyond Art's control, but he was gracious enough to make everything right, and communicated everything with me in a timely and courteous manner. Don't be fooled by the good ratings, this is actually a really bad place to fix your camera. Or I guess it's a good one if you want to waste your money and ruin your gear completely.
Art took care of my camera.
I brought in a Lumix S1R that suffered a drop. Art said sensor was misaligned and the bracket was broken. He said he can fix it for 590 USD with used parts. When Art gave me the "fixed" camera back, it had a gap in the body and the leatherette was sticking out (glue was no longer working - I guess he doesn't care about the quality of his work). Art said the gap was because of the fall, but when I brought the camera in it had zero gaps in the body, just the sensor bracket issue. He didn't do any contract with me when giving him the camera and that's on me, I actually trusted him to be fair and work according to the reviews here. It was not the case.

Also I discovered recently that now the lenses don't focus to infinity anymore. So when the sensor was reinstalled in the bracket it wasn't done according to the tolerances specified by the manufacturer and now the flange distance to lenses is different than what was intended. I literally paid 590 dollars for Art to massacre my camera, otherwise new.

I opened up the camera myself following a guide I found online and I found multiple issues - the metal bracket that connects the top and bottom of camera was bent, there was hair inside of the camera and there was a rubber part missing altogether. I confronted art about that and he said "I don't know exactly why that is not there, it should have been there".

He, of course, said the bracket was bent because of the fall. That's not the case as the camera was perfect other than the sensor issue when bringing it in.

This was an incredibly frustrating experience, from a person that is unfair, unprofessional and unprepared. Bring your camera here if you want it destroyed. Also, don't trust the fake good reviews.

A good job of repairing my Canon Binoculars, now working perfectly. The cost was a lot more than the original quote but well worth it.
Had a problem with the return item couriered back to me, I was not informed of the shipping details and tracking number in spite of several requests. After nearly 2 weeks from date of dispatch it was finally delivered to me without any prior notification. To be fair, this lack of information was with PayPal and the courier USPS and not with VCR.

I have a two-year old Panasonic Lumix that was always horribly out of focus, and had gradually gotten worse before its photos were not suitable. I was quoted a price online sight unseen, and though the unit cost more to fix, it was reasonable and i got a discount for the company's preferred payment method.

I have another Lumix that needs repair, and I will send it to them for repair since I've had a great initial encounter 🙂

My 20+ year old Sony TRV530 Hi8 camcorder ceased to work after many years in storage. When powered up it gave an error code. There was no company here in Vegas that would even consider working on it much less give an estimate. I searched on-line and found Video Cam Repair. I followed their website instructions for a repair estimate and they quickly responded with a reasonable bid so I shipped them the camcorder. A couple of days later they responded and based on further inspection of the camcorder, the repair was required was more complex than originally expected. They gave me the increased bid amount which was again fair so the repair was made. The camcorder was returned in less than 2 weeks and is working very well. Now I can begin the process of transferring many family videos over to digital format. I would recommend this company to anyone who is in need of the services they provide.
