Nashville Children’s Theater has absolutely the best organized summer camps. I really appreciate how early in the year they release their summer camp schedule (helps a lot in planning the summer), how seamlessly the website works on the day registration opens, how thorough and thoughtful their orientation packet is, and how smoothly drop off and pickup is run. On top of all that, the staff is so warm and welcoming. It’s very clear that they make every effort for every child to feel welcome. My daughter had so much fun at her first NCT camp and looks forward to doing many more. Thanks NCT!

We saw the Flopsy Bunnies and were floored by the whole performance. In addition to keeping a room full of 0-5 year olds completely occupied and immersed in the experience, the actresses sang beautifully and engagingly delivered an hour of lines. Very excited for the next one!

My son, 3.5, and I went to Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. This is part of the Snuggery Theater for the very young. It was his first play, and it was wonderful. We both really enjoyed it. It was interactive and the actors were fantastic! The lobby had toys to entertain the kids while they waited for the play to start. We will definitely be going to more plays here.

NCT has been a great resource for my family. When my oldest was going through a Rick Riordan book phase, we attended the Percy Jackson performance. This performance offered a scavenger hunt of buildings around Nashville that demonstrate Greek architecture as well. When he wanted to learn ASL, we attended a performance of The Wizard of Oz with interpreters. During our WWII study, NCT was showing The Diary of Ann Frank. NCT has allowed us to supplement our curriculum in a creative way.

My daughter and I took her boys (3.5, 2.5 and 9 months) to see The Three Little Kittens. It was very well done, interactive, and the kids enjoyed it. Two things, we had to purchase a full price ticket for the 9 month old who had zero clue what was going on AND had to leave the little swag bag they give the kids at the beginning of the performance which contained 3-4 items to use throughout the show. My grandson cried his eyes out because he wanted to take his toys home. It would be nice if either a bag was given to each child to bring home or prep the kids at the beginning of her show that the toys stayed there. Another option would be to have bags available for purchase at the end so they kids could recreate their adventure at home.

Absolutely incredible. These are exactly the kind of experiences we need more of in Nashville. Incredible from pre-show to the finish. My kids loved the experience and I was ecstatic to have found a place like this to take my kids. Our first show was The Three Little Kittens. Everybody was so welcoming and kind and we loved the pre show activities. We purchased a book related to the play as well as several props that had nods to the theme prior to the show. The play itself was so well done and we still quote the play to this day as an inside joke between me and my littles (“mmmm piiiiiie”). We loved it so much we got season tickets for Christmas and we’ve got two plays booked for 2024 already. Consider us hooked!
