I’ve been a student at Huntington education since the third grade. I took the offered math and English classes. Now, as I transition into high school about three years, advanced in my math curriculum, I can confidently say that this tutoring center has been instrumental to my academic journey. All of the teachers that I have had the privilege of learning from have been wonderful and encouraging. Their dedication and support have been unwavering throughout the years. I am so very grateful for the support Ms. Barbarics Who always reached out when I fell behind or missed a class, always, ensuring I was doing my absolute best. With the assistance of Huntington education, I have been able to achieve significant milestones, including my acceptance to WEBB. Without their support, I would never have been able to accomplish such feats. For anyone considering attending this Tutoring center, I would 100% recommend their exceptional teaching and genuine care for their students truly makes all the difference.

Huntington education provides the extra "reps" that students need to sharpen their math and English skills. We were also able to obtain excellent advice about local high school options (public and private) in order to make an informed decision regarding the best fit for my son.

Overall great experience for me and my daughter. She is definitely doing well in math at her home school. She also did extremely well in math testing while applying to middle schools. The repetition and reinforcement provided is key.

Huntington Education has great, dedicated teachers and offers a challenging curriculum that gives students the opportunity to hone fundamental skills while practicing new ones. English classes offer an emphasis on writing, grammar, and analytical reading and reasoning. Essay prompts help prepare students for skills they’ll need at the high school and college level, and students enjoy reading a variety of novels and short stories. Irisa and Justin work hard to revise and update the Huntington curriculum to meet students’ needs and help them succeed in school and beyond. I highly recommend Huntington Education!

My son is currently 8th Grade in a private school in Pasadena and has been going to Huntington for over one year now. He has been taking pre algebra and now Algebra with Ms. Liu.
The math skills and techniques are being taking t here is no doubt one of the simplest. On top of that there is weekly home work packets go home with the students for them to practice the techniques taught in the classroom. The teacher will review the homework during the class.
My son is not a natural hard working student. It is challenging to keep him from distractions. Ms. Liu has been keep us updated with his progress (up and downs) and also giving us reminders on how to keep track of his homework etc.
I believe if your children are willing to get help and do some extra work outside of their schools, you will see progresses. And communicating with the teachers are very important as well!

I took my first math lessons at Huntington Education as an 8th-grader looking to prepare for a placement exam (coming into high school). After a summer of algebra and geometry classes under Ms. and Mrs.Liu, I was able to pass the exam and place into an accelerated math class in freshman year. From then on, Huntington Education continued to help me succeed throughout various mathematics courses in high school -- from Algebra 2 to AP Calculus BC.

Huntington Education knows how to prepare students for academic success. The teachers here are extremely dedicated and knowledgeable in the subjects they teach. I took most of my lessons with Mrs.Liu: they were engaging and often challenging, discussing topics beyond what is taught in school. I think there was not a single class during which I didn't learn something new. Throughout the years, my academic comfort zone and my problem-solving abilities expanded significantly. Mrs.Liu shaped me into a better student and gave me the confidence to succeed in mathematics. Moreover, Mrs.Liu and the other staff at Huntington always encouraged me and cared for my personal well-being.

I'll always be grateful for my time at Huntington Education during these years!

Jonathan Shiau

I was a student at Huntington Education Center from 7th grade until 2002, when I graduated from San Marino High School. Since that time, I've graduated from UCSD with a BS in Bioengineering on a full academic scholarship, and graduated from UCSD School of Medicine. My academic success is in large part due to the education I received from Huntington Education.

While I was a student, I had to opportunity to learn from Mr. Liu, Mrs. Liu and Irisa. All three are excellent teachers, and have countless years of experience teaching elementary, middle and high school students. Their tremendous experience translates into extremely high yield classes and home work assignments that prepare their students for success both in school and on SAT and AP tests. At Huntington Education Center, you learn more than just math or science; you learn the discipline that is required for scholastic success.

More impressive than their results is the fact that they care about their students as individuals. Mrs. Liu makes herself readily available for extra study sessions prior to SAT or AP Exams, and will stay as late as you need in order to make sure you feel prepared for your tests.

With the help of Mrs. Liu and the team at Huntington Education, I received a 790 on the SAT I Math, 800 on SAT II for Math, and a 5 on my AP Calculus BC Exam. I'm certain that there are many other Huntington Education Center students who've had similarly excellent results as well.

I definitely recommend enrolling without any reservations!
