I came here for a weekend trip and honestly had an absolute blast. My ONLY complaint is that I stayed in the Log House and there was no AC BUT I slept in the living room and the couches were super comfy and there was a fan there I pointed at me. The bathrooms in the rooms upstairs are pretty small but they do the job. Location though GREAT, and the amount of activities was amazing. I went with Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) so not sure what was part of BOW and what was part of the camp but overall I definitely want to go back.

Friendly Pines Camp holds a special place in my heart as the grandson of Mary Beth Whitlow. I was lucky enough to spend many unforgettable summers there and I can honestly say that it was some of the best times of my life. The staff and counselors are top-notch, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all campers. The activities offered, from archery to rock climbing, allow for endless fun and adventure. But what truly sets Friendly Pines apart is the sense of community that is fostered. I made lifelong friends and memories there and I will always cherish my time spent at the camp. If you're looking for a summer filled with laughter, growth, and joy, then Friendly Pines Camp is the place for you.

I chaperoned a week long school camp for both my kids. They loved it and so did I! Comfortable cabins with shower, sink and toilet. Fans for summer. Heaters for winter. Beautiful grounds with amazing activities! Definitely would attend in the future!

Excellent experience, great team and staff and super friendly, helpful and kind.
The great thing about this camp was they were flexible at any form to work with your schedule.
Jonathan did a fantastic job in answering all of our questions from day 1 patiently and he was always open to new demands.
Chef David is a great chef that can help you to experience variety of tasty delicious food based on your diet!
And Mat is a great high elements instructor with an amazing team of experienced, kind and lovely staff that makes you feel your camping experience is one of the kind!
Before going to the Friendly Pines Camp we visited few other sites, next to them and even around the Prescott area, these guys were totally different in everything!
totally recommend them and you won't be regret!
We are now already planning on the next year's camp with them and any of our campers couldn't be happier and in fact they were asking us when is going to be the next camp!
Totally worth every single penny!

Super kool place to take the kids just spend three days there on a kids field trip they all had a blast the food was good after all the activities they had for us. Really fun place to take the family we had Angel as a guide he was amazing along with all the staff there can't wait to go back next year

My daughter was there during summer 21’ for a 2 week camp. While there she started feeling sick about her third day in. She told her counselors and they told her “she was just home sick” she cried bc she was obviously in pain so they sent her to the nurse who just let her sleep in the office. My oldest daughter was also there and had mentioned to her counselor that her sister in another cabin was sick and they weren’t doing anything about it. My daughter was barely able to walk and was crying asking to come home but even the camp director wouldn’t do anything about it after both of my daughters went to her asking to just call home. I eventually got ahold of a mail lady at camp that got in touch with my daughter for me. My daughter ended up coming home after 1 week with meningitis, which if you don’t know could be deadly. She was barely able to walk, had rashes all over body and slept for 18 hrs when she came home. If this doesn’t scare you idk what would. I hope the team at this camp reflected and learned how to go about things differently.
