My son needed a great place for after school care, as I work and go to school and not able to pick up at dismissal. I found this gem after researching top daycare/after school programs in the area that were not only safe, but structured and promotes engaging activities and educational moments. Hands down, could not be more pleased with this selection! The staff are amazing. I can see they genuinely care for the kids, and even have homework help! My 5 year old loves it! Every time I pick him up he leaves smiling and excited to tell me about his day. 🙂

UPDATE 11/12/24: I removed my son from the center during the summer session for several reasons but mostly after a change in management and a revolving door of teachers. My son was turning 7 when I pulled him out of the center and it was primarily due to a teacher named Stephanie. Older Black woman. She was always yelling at the children and one day when I walked in, my son had an accident and instead of helping him, or maybe CALL the parent, she had him standing in a corner, STANDING IN HIS URINE!!!! I was furious. I immediately told the director about this and as always nothing ever changed. Beware of Miss Stephanie if you have school aged children. She is extremely rude and for the number of years she claims to have of experience, you would think the kids love her but it is quite the opposite. My son would constantly fill me in on how she treated him and others. Completely unacceptable. This center has gone downhill. Side note...For the price of how much this place costs, there should be much better food items provided for the children. I made sure to pack my son lunches when he attended in the summers because he would come home starving eating their skimpy meals. I once saw the kids eating plain bread, green beans that were most likely canned and peaches. WHAT. IS. THAT?

Mrs. Breanna in class E5 is absolutely amazing. She is an incredible teacher and all around amazing person. Every time I walk in to my son’s class Breanna is always friendly, kind, knowledgeable, sweet, caring, patient, and understanding. She is overly involved in the class and always knows what all the kids are doing at all times!! When I come to get my son, she always grabs his backpack, thermos, and daily report, along with knowing that he doesn’t go on Fridays and remembers to give me his knapsack on Thursdays along with giving him treasure box. She is one of the few I trust 110% to look after my son and know that he is in good hands with her. Being a teacher can be challenging at times but every time I see her she always has a smile on her face and is always positive no matter what type of day she’s had. I hope she continues to grow with that company as she’s definitely a valued employee. Breanna is a complete rockstar and even though this is the last year my son will be here. I am truly going to miss her and Miley both. I wish I could take them with me into my son’s future endeavors. Working with the both of them has made this a pleasant and incredible experience that we will never forget. Thank you Breanna and Miley for everything you have done, it is greatly appreciated and noticed!

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE FOR AFTER SCHOOL CARE. They are AT LEAST 45 MINUTES TO ONE HOUR LATE picking them up from school every day. You are paying for your children to be UNSUPERVISED. Sign your child up for safe key instead where it is CHEAPER AND SAFER (one week of after school is about $130 vs $50 for safe key). STOP PAYING C.L.A. FOR DOING LITERALLY NOTHING.

I had the pleasure of entrusting my child to CLA. Explorer 3 (3yo) class under Ms. Darlene is exceptional. I appreciate Ms. Darlene’s dedication and passion to creating a nurturing environment where children thrive. It is evident in every interaction with my daughter. From engaging activities to personalized attention, Ms. Darlene goes above and beyond to ensure each child feels valued and supported. She has a positive attitude and has incredible patience. Her class is not just a class but a sanctuary of learning and creativity.

Also, I appreciate that their front desk personnel is friendly and always smiling. It gives a pleasant impression. Furthermore, they never fail to greet us in the morning when we drop off our daughter and in the afternoon when we pick her up. Kudos!

My son went here for about a year and I really liked his teacher but there were so many staff churn near the end. I don't know what happened but oh well.
I would've given them 4 stars but they tried to charge my credit card after my son had left the school. Good thing I anticipated this from all the other reviews here so I had my credit card locked. Seems like a shady business practice so I deducted 1 star.
I also don't like their manual sign in process. All other schools use digital ones. Please get with the times.

I was having so much trouble finding a daycare were I felt my kids were safe, healthy and overall there well being is okay. Until I found Children Learning Adventure the moment I walk through the door my kids were overwhelmed with joy and happiness and couldn’t wait to come back! The staff is AMAZING, professional, understanding, caring, supportive. I love when I pick up my children they tell me all the exciting things they learned that day. I love that everyday they are learning something different. It so nice for me to go to work and know that my children wellbeing is good. Thank you so much to all the staff and amazing teachers! You guys are truly the best.

I love and Ms. Johanna and the art teacher! Everyone always looks so happy to be there and always greets me at the door! Never been so happy to bring my child to a daycare.

Today during lunch, my child asked for utensils and was told by the teacher (!) that they “ran out and she just has to eat with her hands”! It was some kind of pasta dish. My five year old said it was three of them left without utensils and were forced to eat pasta scooping it into their mouths! It poses a serious health risk and it is violation of any and all sanitary norms. I asked where was teachers while they were eating and she said the teachers were walking around telling them to make bigger scoops. In which world is that acceptable? I immediately called the school and was told “they are looking into it”, then front desk lady told me it’s “he said, she said” situation and suggested my child was lying. So that’s the behaviour you can expect from Childrens Learning Adventure. I have zero expectations that they’ll actually do anything other than trying to cover up and blame kids so I'm filing formal complaint with The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health's Child Care Licensing Unit tomorrow and strongly encourage parents affected by that place do the same.

The place itself is extremely disorganized, endless stream of teachers that disappear before you remember their names. Once the room was so cold , all kids were shivering. I asked why the temp is so low and was told the thermostat is controlled by the head office and the teachers cannot adjust it. Another time the teacher was hiding in the corner pressed against the wall texting on her phone while kids were running and screaming unsupervised. All these things were brought up to the front desk where the ladies sweetly smile and will tell you they will look into it. Needless to say, I cannot trust them with safety of my kid.
