I really enjoy taking art lessons with Anatol. He is very patient with me and never tires of explaining what I do not get all the time over and over again.
Having gone to him for clarification, exploration and understanding of what I may have been valuing and seeing as art, he has continuously transformed my knowledge and artistic abilities. I feel greatly encouraged to take on more in the field of art. And am enjoying it all.

Anatol Woolf is an excellent teacher. After a life of making art and teaching art he knows what he is talking about. Combine that experience with his humanity and his genuine care for people and yes he is truly excellent.
He knows how to respectfully challenge. He knows how to guide you out of your mindset to explore more ways to approach creativity. He has opened doors for me that I didn’t know existed. Challenging? Oh yes. And we laughed all the way as I worked even harder and even challenged him right back. All the while he never looses sight of getting his students to discover what visual communication means to them.
Anatol Woolf is truly an inspirational teacher.

I have been a student of Anatol's for over two years, both inperson, initially, and remote lessons from my home in FL and here in MD this spring/summer. Anatol is a very skilled and intuitive teacher sensing the areas where I needed instruction in water color, oils and water color pencils. I have learned a great deal in our tenure as teacher-student and have enjoyed the progress I have made and the paintings I have produced. I highly recommend Anatol as a teacher/mentor.

I took drawing lessons with Anatol for several months before moving from the area. I was nervous at first because I had no previous experience but Anatol put me at ease immediately. He's knowledgeable, very skilled and fun to work with. His expertise is enough for an experienced artist to work with but he's patient in working with somebody inexperienced like me.

I studied with Mr Woolfe for almost three years and his technical expertise and kind personality really helped me push my art skills to the next level.
