Denise worked with my daughter (8yo) over the last school year. Her reading and writing has improved immensely, she jumped from a 1st grade reading level to a 3rd grade level, meeting her grade standards. Not only did we see huge improvements, but my daughter genuinely enjoyed her sessions with Denise and always left them feeling happy and good about herself. We plan to continue to work with her in the future and I would recommend her to anyone who has children that struggle with reading/writing.

Denise is wonderful and she has helped my son so much with his reading! She is very calm and patient, making my 7year old feel very comfortable. He normally is shy and quiet, but he is so comfortable with her he chats the whole time. Denise is great about gently keeping him on topic or using his story to spell things he is interested in. She is also encouraging and positive and that has helped his confidence so much. Before he would avoid reading because it was too hard for him, and now he reads every sign in the road and reads more challenging books than he was before. His grades have really improved because of her help. I highly recommend her services!
