We have attended summer camps for the past 2 years and my daughter ABSOLUTELY has a blast every time! She literally talks about it for the entire year.

Camp Anothen has opened up their grounds for birthday parties, so we jumped on the idea! They were so accommodating when it came to dates, having outside vendors and themes! The day of the party kids of all ages had a blast playing the ENTIRE DAY zip lining, playing Gaga ball, tag, dancing, exploring and just being kids in a safe environment ! Kids left the party crying because they didn't want to leave! Thank you for making daughters 9th birthday such an amazing experience

My daughter has attended Camp Anothen for the last 2-3 years as a camper and this is her first summer working there as an LIT! She has absolutely LOVED being able to assist the Camp Counselors and help with the younger kids. We signed her up to work for two weeks and she continues to ask if she can work more weeks.

This is an amazing opportunity for younger teens to gain leadership experience and volunteer hours.

My 7 yr old son loves this place! He has been going to Camp Anothen the past 3 summers and just attended the T-giving Break Camp Days. We have no idea what goes on during the camp day (except for advertised activities and what he tells us), but he can't seem to get enough of the place! I appreciate the Christian themes, and it is much more diverse than the other similar camps. Having a bi-racial son, representation matters, and CA has a great mix of campers and counselors! How much do we love it? We live in Frisco and make arrangements for him to attend every summer! Great work, CA staff!

My children attended one week of this summer camp for the very first time this summer at the recommendation of a couple friends who were sending their kids as well. It was easily their favorite summer experience and both of them wished they were attending more than just one weeks worth. They had a blast and came home thoroughly exhausted at the end of the day. I appreciated their program filled with outdoor activities and friendship. My kids did many things they've never done before and felt happy and confident in their success. We will be signing them up for more next summer and every summer until they're signing up to be counselors here. The drop offs and pick ups were smooth, swift and safe. All of the counselors and staff were friendly and communicative and the kids loved their counselors. I was happy with all interactions. They went out of their way to make sure my kids were placed with their friends but also that they made new friends as well. So thankful for this experience.

My daughter had the most amazing time at camp Anothen. She attended the last week camp was offered and the counselors were just as excited to see the kids. She loved her counselor "Peanut". Everyday when she would get in the car from camp, she would say she was ready to go right back. Thank you for giving my daughter such a wonderful experience.

If you are looking for a great camp for your kiddos look no further you have found it. This place is beautiful lots of trees and so fun for kids to play outside all day long. Our daughter went to camp as a 9 year old because we made her. Day 1 at pick up she said to me I love it can I go back for a second week. The counselors are also amazing and so fun. Lots of memories for a lifetime from this camp. Well done Camp Anothen and yes she went back for a second week or camp.

Proud to say we started Camp Anothen the year they opened and we would never go anywhere else!!! My kids love Gaga ball, capture the flag and every lake and swimming pond activity! It’s a true outdoor experience 15 minutes from home.
