What a fabulous retreat we had for 91 people. This all volunteer camp is somewhat primitive ( yet comfortable) the beauty of the facility and location in the forest far outweigh and challenges. Kevin Harper, General Manager, is incredibly kind, fair and supportive and made planning our organizations 3 day retreat a breeze. On site caretaker Michael is super helpful and is always available to answer any questions or to offer great guidance on anything from hiking, camp activities to cooking s'mores.
The excellent value and low costs allowed us to make attendance affordable for everyone.
We prepared our own meals and ate like kings. The all-volunteer status of Whispering Pines Camp creates a big workload but an ever bigger blessing as we cooked and cleaned together.
Thank you for helping us all get closer to one another and to the God we love who created the beauty that surrounds this amazing facility.

Such a lovely place, Whispering Pines has been home to many precious memories of mine. Although it is under some renovation, it is a wonderful place with lots of little places around the camp for kids to explore.

10/10 recommend this camp to anyone! The new camp manager, Ken is amazing. Met every single one of our needs promptly. The campground was clean, accessible, and just had a great vibe. What an incredible difference from our visit the year prior. We will be back next year and can not wait!

This is classic Summer Camp type stuff. For groups, mostly. Many cabins (dry cabins) in clusters around the 20-some acres, surrounded by Natl Forest. Central buildings house bathrooms, kitchen, meeting halls, and other amenities. Deer regularly walk through. The starry skies at night can hardly be beat, an escape fromr the Valley heat, and wonderful people. I grew up going to this camp with my family, and am now bringing my own kids back!

I was in a youth mission group called the Champions for Christ that my dad led. And we would come up to this campground for 2 weeks every summer and lead a childrens camp. It was amazing. We loved going to Whipering Pines. The area is beautiful. Unmatched. Some of my fondest memories from my younger years were spent there. This was back in 2000-2004.

My boys go to band camp every year and they enjoy it. It's camp, so lots of outdoor sceneries. Only draw back is it smells a little, funky
