Dragged my teenager in kicking and screaming to get help with Alg2H after switching schools. The new teacher weighs 80% of their grades to tests... We were both reluctant in the beginning, but after the first session, my son told me it helped and wasn’t as bad as he expected. Now, a few sessions in, we are seeing results with increased test scores, increased grade point average, and it’s helping with test taking confidence… We both grew fond of this place in a short time, and are considering ELA help next. Thanks Mrs. Sandy, and Mr. Rob!

Sylvan has been a wonderful experience for my son, his reading has improved tremendously over the summer and he absolutely loves the staff and teachers. Sandy and Rob couldn’t be more helpful and follow up constantly on your child's needs. We are so happy to be part of the Sylvan family.

Sylvan of carrollwood has been amazing for my children. Between the both of them we have been a part of the sylvan family for 6 years. I say "family" because that is what they make you feel like. Sandy, Rob and all the teachers make you and your child feel at home. My kids love going and when we take a break are always asking when they can go back. It has changed the way my children feel about school and learning. It has given them so much confidence and a love for learning. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done.

My son who has ADHD has been attending Sylvan for about two years. He originally started with the Reading program and has improved so much that he is reading at grade level. He is currently in the Math program and is making good progress. He really enjoys going to Sylvan and using the iPad to learn. He also loves the people. I do too! They care so much for all of the children that they help. I recommend them! I have signed up my stepdaughter for SAT Prep. as well.

My daughter was struggling in reading so we brought her to Mrs. Sandy. I have to say Mrs. Sandy has the patience of a saint!! Made my daughter feel at home. She now loves to read signs and gets excited when she is able to figure out words she didn't know! Sylvan has been a blessing! Thank you everyone at Sylvan! Everyone is wonderful and caring here!
