Oasis Day Camp at LIU Post - Greenvale, New York

My children began Oasis Day Camp in Tully Park when they were 7 and 3 years old. This is our 10th year with Oasis! I can’t say enough good things about their experiences with both the day camps and the travel camps. Memories to last a lifetime.
The travel program is excellent. They take the kids to awesome places daily and the overnight trips are amazing! Such a great experience for them to travel to new places, be responsible for themselves and others. The staff at Oasis are truly special people who put their all into making the summer fun and exciting every year.
The friendships they have made through the Oasis Teen Travel program are amazing. These kids are so special and important to each other that they stay in touch daily through the winters and try to spend as much time together as they can. They are all from different backgrounds, towns, religions and ethnicities yet they are the very best of friends.
When my children ‘age out’ then they plan on becoming counselors because they can’t bear the thought of not spending their summers at Oasis.
My husband and I say it was the best decision we ever made and worth every $ we’ve spent.

I can’t express in words how Oasis Camp has exceeded my expectations! My daughter is 8 and comes home everyday super excited about camp ! They keep all the kids engaged in activities all day and make necessary adjustments based on the weather as we’ve experienced extreme hot days . My daughter never comes home saying she was “bored”. lol

I enjoy the weekly pictures and the weekly highlights postcards from the counselors that are sent home to parents .

The camp provides lunch which is a BIG plus for parents !!!

Lastly, I would like to commend the camp on their communication practices! My daughter had 2 minor incidents and the counselors called me both times to keep me informed.

This was my daughter’s first year attending and she’ll definitely be back next summer

My boys are having a great time. They are excited to go every day and they are making friends. My only complaint is the lunches. Your inability to provide my son with a nutritious well balanced lunch because he has an egg allergy is very disappointing. This is a top tier camp, it is not inexpensive and I am paying for the service you offer which includes lunch. I do hope that the food service provider for next year will be properly vetted and can meet with the requirements. An allergy should not make him different from everyone else.

This is my daughter’s 3rd summer with OASIS. She enjoyed the junior travel the past two years. The activities are fun. This year she is in teen travel. She absolutely love the overnight trips. Matthew K and his team of counselors are very responsive. Very organized. Drop off sites are convenient.

As a parent of two boys, I can confidently say that my experience with Oasis has been nothing short of amazing. My eldest son has been attending this camp since he was 5 years old, and every year, I am blown away by the growth, fun, and memories he brings back from his time at Oasis.

While many businesses were closed, Oasis stepped up to provide a safe and enjoyable summer experience for the kids. The management at Oasis is top-notch, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while still maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere for the campers.

One of the things I appreciate most about Oasis is the inclusion of a delicious lunch in the tuition. As a busy parent, it is a relief to know that my son is enjoying a nutritious meal while I am rushing to get out the door in the mornings. This small touch really sets Oasis apart from other camps and shows their dedication to providing a well-rounded experience for the kids.The memories, friendships, and growth that my sons have experienced at this camp are truly priceless.

This camp is so amazing!! I have never felt more at home at another place and more safe with anyone else. The directors and counselors truly become your family and you can trust them with the world. Oasis Teen Travel has brought me to my best friends in the entire world. I could never be more thankful for it than I am. The trips are so fun and well thought out. The staff and campers make every trip the most fun experience you will ever have. It is 100% worth it to send your child to Oasis because they will love it more than anything else in the world!

Oasis LIU is truly incredible. We have been with Oasis for 8 years. Our oldest son started in the Early Start Program and has continued through the Jr. Teen Travel Program. He continually talks about staying for Teen Travel, CIT, and becoming a counselor. Our second son had his first camp experience last summer with Early Start. The staff is incredible, they know our kids so well. They are so friendly, positive, and build such great relationships with our kids. The facilities are truly amazing. The LIU campus is gorgeous and the spaces to which our kids have access (A college gymnasium, immaculate swimming pool, beautiful outdoor spaces, air conditioned indoor spaces on those hot summer days, and more). The Jr. Teen Travel and Teen Travel programs are outstanding, especially when you compare the price with other travel programs for summer camp. I can't say enough positive things about this summer camp and the experiences and memories it has provided for our kids and family. Thank you Oasis LIU!
