What a great place this is! My son and I have camped here a few times and it never disappoints, the volunteers are amazing and they really know how to keep it fun and memorable. Thank you for everything y'all do, it does not go unnoticed.

I can't say enough positive things about this camp and it's ranger. The grounds were gorgeous, expansive, and well maintained. There were so many camps from which to choose that we were able to use just three and have a huge area for our almost 70-scout group. We made use of burn barrels and fire rings to have lovely fires each night. The ranger even had a firewood pile near us to make things easier! Ranger Ron was so friendly and professional. He checked on us everyday, but still respected that our group likes to take care of itself. The restroom facilities were large with lots of restrooms and showers. Even when we had a minor issue with the water heater, Ron responded quickly and corrected the problem with a smile. THAT'S service! We were at John W Nichols for five days and our only real complaint was that we didn't have enough time to explore everything! Our troop is already discussing how we can return to this paradise! Thanks so much, Ron!

A very well maintained camp with many activity areas for S outs from Cubs to Venture Scouts. Pool for the summer months, great bath and shower facilities.

Our pack camped at John Nichols last month and we were all so impressed with how improved the facility was. We’ve camped there many times and it has never been as clean as it was this visit. Well done Ron! Keep up the good work.

John Nichols is a great place to camp! Ron Hammer has done such a great job improving the grounds over the last 2 years. Every time we visit there is something new to see. The pool is fixed, the buildings are improved and the campsites are in amazing condition. He really has brought life back into the grounds. Thanks for all the improvements and massive fire rings!!
