I had failed the bar previously when i found Jay. Jay is family as far as I am concerned. Don't waste your time and money with other prep IMO. Jay's approach is so much better and specific. You are a real person to Jay and he actually cares if you pass. If you work hard and do what he says it will come i promise. Do the work and be patient.

Invest in your future and get with someone who will get you over the hump. How much is that worth? To me alot and Jay didn't charge anywhere near would I would have paid to pass.

Thanks to Jay's program, I passed the the California Bar on my first attempt after working with him. In looking at the statistics from the State Bar, of the applicants who were repeat takers from non-ABA schools, only 17% passed. My score went up a minimum of 200 points. I only wish I had used Jay right out of law school. I have already recommended him to my family and close friends.

I explored several different bar tutor programs. I was a repeat taker and working full time. I previously used Barbri and felt there was too much time wasted watching video lectures of someone reading outlines. During my initial phone call, I could tell Jay and his program was the best one out there. This was confirmed when I spoke with another tutor who said I couldn't go wrong with Jay and that he knew is stuff.

Jay catered a study plan based on my work schedule. Equally important was making sure I stayed on track. I met with Jay every week and quickly saw a major change in my retention and essay writing skills. The essay questions covered all of the major topics to make sure nothing caught me off guard. One of the questions on the exam was a transcript style evidence question. I had never seen this style before. But Jay had me practice these and taught me how to answer them. The practice MBE's were challenging and taught me the nuances necessary to be prepared come test day.

Jay is the best there is....period. He has a unique and sound method for approaching the bar that is effective whether it's your first time or you're a repeater.
