This is the first Google review I’ve ever written — that’s how much I love Monroe Street Studio! Yana is an amazing teacher and her studio has been the perfect place for me to learn how to create art with stained glass. I've taken two classes and completed three projects at the studio so far, and I plan to continue by utilizing the open studio time that is offered for experienced students. Yana’s knowledge, encouragement, and emphasis on creativity have created a wonderful space dedicated to art and community. I wholeheartedly recommend Monroe Street Studio to anyone seeking an enriching artistic experience.

I was so very fortunate to find Yana and this art studio. I have always wanted to try my hand at Stained Glass and her introductory class, was fantastic - I'm hooked. Now I am looking into purchasing my own glass and taking advantage of her studio hours to keep working on my skills. Next project... a window panel.

Monroe Street Studios is extraordinary! I learned how to create stained glass art from Yana, who is an angel. She is so patient and clear as a teacher. She encourages her students’ creativity and has created a safe, happy environment. I have completely fallen in love with stained glass, and it is all thanks to Yana! I would highly recommend taking an adult art class or signing your kids up for a kid’s class!

What a fun way to spend Wednesday evenings in the Fall! Yana's studio space is so warm and inviting. The studio offers a wide variety of classes from painting, sewing, mosaic and stained glass. I took the 5 week mosaic class and had a blast!

What an amazing place to expand your skill set! I am not an “artsy” person, but just challenged myself to take a stained glass class. What a blast! In just four short classes with Yana, I created a fun piece of art. There is a perfect balance of safety and fun that makes your inner artist wan to come out to play! I celebrated my daughter's 7th birthday at the Monroe Street Studio. The art teacher Ms. Yana and her team made sure the party was a success. My daughter and her friends had a blast doing the art project during the party. The studio worked with me and answered all my questions before the event. After the art project part, we were allowed to use the kitchen/lounge area, for food and cake. The kids loved painting on canvas and everyone left home with their painting as a memory of that day. What a great studio. We loved our experience with them. I highly recommend celebrating your kids birthday parties there. Maximum number of kids they can accommodate is 8, but that makes it even more personal.

Such a special place to go and discover your artistic side! This studio offers very small and personal classes in anything from stained glass, painting, drawing, sewing and so much more! The level of personal instruction is incredible! The work they inspire from small children to adults is AMAZING!!! I really have not found anyplace like it!
