My daughter loves going to tutoring at Huntington Learning Center in Frederick. They make learning fun and manageable. Ruth, the director, is very easy to communicate with and gives regular updates on progress. They help reduce skills gaps through their curriculum and will also help with homework.

We started here with three of our homeschooled kids and let me just say Ruth and her team are the best. Although two of my kids did go back into the public school sector, our oldest stayed the course and in the 9 months we’ve been here, she not only closed her knowledge gap, she went on to graduate from homeschooling a year early and is ready to apply to colleges.

Our son has definitely benefited from his time at Huntington. He has improved substantially on his math, reading, and his overall want to do well. It has certainly been a worthwhile investment and one that is leading to positive results. The ability to tailor his learning needs to a very detailed and specific degree is something that unfortunately, his school cannot do due to the size of the class. Definitely recommend for those parents concerned with their son or daughter falling behind.

The team at Huntington Learning Center were a great boost to our son preparing for college. Their tutoring sessions about reading comprehension and writing skills helped him prepare and complete college essays. The SAT preparation program raised his score 180 points! Huntington Learning Center has been our families blessing! My kids struggled with both reading and math. The teachers are attentive to their needs, keep an open line of communication with the school plus provided a learning plan that generated room for their success.
